The Possible Premise of TMH (To be revised in the later months)

Ladies and Gentlemen, I've presented to you the first possible draft of the game's premise, please note that some of the ideas may possibly change in the coming months:

In the times were passion projects once thrived in the industry fields of film and gaming, there was a casual buff who lives in the hills of the fictitious Acorn Villa between the acres of a spoiled smart-aleck who was with her once-imaginary friend-turned-real and an ambitious scientist who does the unthinkable things that he creates.

One day, the buff and his/her next door neighbors along with its selected colleges had received an invitation to visit the city that made film magic to life, Hollywood. For once, they were excited to tour the sets of famous movies and meet some of its stars, ranging from young and handsome to some of its legendary actors and actresses.

Things were looking like they’re having a good time in paradise until something went suspiciously awry when the buff snuck through the company headquarters and what he had heard from the corporate doors reveals a very dark secret that was plaguing the industries.
It seemed that the CEO doesn't want to produce films made by passionate people who are influenced by the art of cinema while discussing to an executive.

What he wants is to shift their focuses on producing a franchise of films that take place in a shared superhero universe a la the MCU, why? Because in his words, “I wanted to make more money on the pre-release hype it made for our films rather than creating an ‘actual’ film because who gives a crap about Hollywood anyway?”

But it gets worse from there as the video gaming industry had introduced a new business tactic that spiraled out of control when people are turning into anthropomorphized animals from gambling in the form of microtransactions, loot-boxes, and content slot machines.

Now it is up to the buff, the outsiders, insiders, and in-betweeners to save the day from the evil corporates who thirst for domination by greed and power to stop alienating the geeks around the country in this deconstructed satire RPG that looks inside the dark side of pop culture.

(I'll announce the start of development for the game when the plot and scenarios are finalized. In the meantime, I've got OFTB in mind. Please stay tuned.)
